Giorgetto Giugiaro
Born in Italy in 1938.
Began working at the age of 17 with Dante Giacosa at Fiat's styling center. Moved to Bertone at the age of 21, working there as a stylist. In 1968, he left Bertone, founded ItalDesign, and devoted hinself to building his new company. In 1981, he founded Giugiaro Design. He is now considered to be one of the world's pre-eminent industrial designers, renowned for work of consistent excellence.
